"I’ll be there making sure things are done right.  That’s a promise."

I grew up on McMillin Farms in nearby Georgetown, Kentucky.  Cattle, hay, tobacco, horses;   we did it all and it was done the right way.  When it was time for me to go it alone, I took that attitude and work ethic to Amende Place.

Doing things the “right way” means many things to me.  Hard work, attention to detail, cleanliness,  compassion and dedication are the foundation on which this farm was built.

We all know that horses demand attention 24/7 and that’s what we give them.  Whether it’s a late night in the foaling barn or an early morning breeding shed run the job gets done.

From the time your mare arrives she will receive hands on attention from my staff and myself.  From the foaling barn to the breeding shed, through the sales ring and to the race track, I’ll be there making sure things are done right.  That’s a promise.

BOARDING FACILITIES

Having a neat, clean farm that is not overpopulated with horses, but is comfortable and calm puts a horse at ease.  Horses at peace just do better and that’s what I strive for.

I like a horse to be raised outside on that good Kentucky grass.  There is no place better.
